Dedicated to cookin' up fresh sounds straight out of the Texas crock pot, The Oven is a boutique recording studio, rehearsal and event space in Austin. Founded in 2016 by local musicians and sound engineers, The Oven provides a unique, community-oriented atmosphere for musicians to come together to rehearse, record, produce, unwind, and enjoy our shared passion - music.
Meet the Cooks
David Click
Audio engineer, producer, multi instrumentalist, composer and performer. Former JBTV recording engineer, Click has recorded national acts like The Toadies, Chris Cornell, Fitz and The Tantrums, 3 Doors Down, and has toured with bands such as Erika Wennerstrom, Scott H Biram, Cap City. Click has been recording Austin TX local musicians such as Finite Fidelity, Dregs, Gasoline Boots, Black Basements, Hayden Hoodoo and mastering digital/analog Vinyl (Willy McGee)
David Click recently worked at Austin TX local favorite venues such as Barracuda, Hotel Vegas, Cheer Up Charlies, and Flamingo Cantina. 5 years of SXSW official showcases including SONY, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, and BROOKLYN. Click recently joined Cap City Band as lead audio engineer and producer. Click is currently scouting musicians for future productions.

Phil Kegley
Following the success of his StudioBar in Madison, WI, Phil took his gear, enthusiasm and talents to Austin, TX to co-found The Oven. He's worked with several of Madison's music scene such as The Mustache, Elf Lettuce and The Grasshoppers. Also, Phil has worked and performed at festivals such as World's Largest Brat Fest, People Fest, SXSW. Phil has performed in live acts including The Phil Kegley Band, Chaos Revolution Theory and Starved Rock.
Riley Burgess
Riley likes cats more than anything else in life.
